Parveender Kaur Manjit Singh
Practice Manager

Parveender joined the Canberra Heart Clinic in April 2016. With her clinical background of a nursing degree and a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in business management, she excels in all administrative, financial and executive support tasks. She has a work ethic matched by few. She is an indispensable part of our clinic. She is highly professional and has a warm, caring and easy going personality. She can be easily approached for any feedback, suggestions or concerns you may have. She is a perfectionist and in her role as practice manager ensures that the clinic provides the best possible care to its patients in the most professional, organised way and also in the most caring of environments. She has spent countless hours behind our amazing rooms redevelopment and hopes that you feel our rooms are as comfortable as your own home. She has a depth of knowledge and a passion for hard work which makes her perfect for the role as practice manager.

Deepa Allada
Cardiac Sonographer

After completing high school at Glen Waverley Secondary College in Melbourne, Deepa undertook a Bachelor of Business Systems at Monash University. She initially worked as an analyst programmer at National Australia bank in Melbourne and then Westpac in Syndey. After two beatiful children she returned to the workforce in 2010 and has been an integral part of the Canberra Heart Clinic. Deepa is a highly skilled cardiac sonographer. She graduated with distinction in Cardiac Ultrasound from Queensland University of Technology in 2013 and has utmost professionalism and is very friendly.

Ashok Kumar Telaprolu
Cardiac Sonographer

Ashok graduated from Dr NTR University of Health Sciences in 2009. After acquiring extensive experience in the field of invasive cardiology as a clinical nurse specialist, he went on to complete a post graduate diploma in echocardiography and cardiovascular technology. In addition to adult echocardiography, he has in depth skills in paediatric echocardiography. He is passionate about teaching. He loves watching and playing cricket. He also works at the National Capital Private Hospital in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory. He is currently undertaking a diploma of Cardiac Ultrasound from Queensland University of Technology. His nickname is Laddu as this is his favourite sweet.

Connie Jamio
Medical Administrative Specialist

Connie commenced work at the Canberra Heart Clinic in 2012 and is a nurse trained from the Philippines. Prior to working in our practice she worked for 6 years in a large medical centre in Dubai. She is a senior member of our team and is multi-talented with a full understanding of reception duties. This also includes setting up patients for all cardiac investigations as well as clerking patients prior to their cardiologist consultation. She has immense clinical knowledge and experience. Connie is cheerful and has a great sense of humour.

Sherry Qian
Medical Administrative Specialist

Sherry is a reliable and hardworking professional. She strives to achieve perfection and has a natural ability to make people feel comfortable. She has Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Queensland University. Sherry loves animals and enjoys spending time with her pet dog and fish. She also enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures.

Sarah Pineda
Trainee Cardiac Sonographer

Sarah is the newest member of our team. While completing her postgraduate studies at the Australian National University, she realised her passion for patient care which brought her to Melbourne. At the Epworth Hospital, she managed the Day Oncology and Dialysis Department as the Business Officer-In Charge. After a year and a half away from her family, Sarah returned home to Canberra and is currently a Trainee Cardiac Sonographer with the Canberra Heart Clinic. She upholds a professional work ethic with utmost respect and diligence. During her spare time, Sarah loves playing with her Instagram famous bunny Cocobunbuns, baking and working out.
